Technagora

This summer has not been kind to my blogs. Two reasons:

1) I haven’t had a reliable home internet connection for the last two months.

2) This is (hopefully) going to be my last summer in college town, and I’ve been determined to have as much fun as I can before the realities of adulthood set in.

So, between work, fun in the sun, dice games, and frequent miscellaneous adventures, I’ve not had a lot of time for blogging. However, I’ve just (temporarily) moved back home, where I’ll be staying for another four weeks or so before moving onto the next phase of my life. I’ve got ‘net access, I’ve got nothing to do on my weeknights, so I’ll be back in the habit of inundating your feed readers with econo-/technophilia again in no time.

I’m excited to announce that I’ve been recruited to write for the Competitive Enterprise Institute at their blog, Open Market. Read my first post here.

As for Technagora, I plan to continue writing my nebulous and esoteric pieces about technology, economics, culture, sci fi, et cetera here, while writing on tech policy issues at OM.  Ice Cream Headache will also continue to be irregularly updated.

In case you haven’t yet gotten my facebook “Blog Networks” invite, I’m doing a little more self-promotion for my other blog, Ice Cream Headache.

Ice Cream Headache is a Hodgepodge of Aimless Observations. It’s where I write about topics not covered in Technagora, including movies, anecdotes, economics (I can’t escape it), reflections on some of the more absurd aspects of our culture, and my commentary on life in general. Add it to your feed readers, folks!

Those of you who are reading this at the actual URL and not through a feed reader may have noticed a few changes. First, I’ve changed the page design – I’d grown tired of the orange-and-gray, vision-of-the-future-from-a-decade-ago theme. This one is more simplistic, and I’m an advocate of “less is more.”

Second, on the right-hand side of the page, you’ll notice an RSS feed for my new blog, Ice Cream Headache. ICH is a personal blog that will be dumping ground for my thoughts and observations not otherwise related to the topics covered here.
